Too bad Mike Leach would be a terrible Col. Jessep. He’d have no compelling speech (even though his lawyers intend to craft one) in which to base his silly hazing on receiver Adam James, who was punished for getting a concussion apparently.
Lies in Leach’s eyes. Hysteria for the sports world.
He actually told James to stand in a small, dark room and not leave or he would be kicked off the team (if you believe James). If that’s not a special kind of crazy, I don’t know what is.
Man, what happened to the Big 12 coaches of a sudden? It seems like they’re all crazy of a sudden.
First, you’ve got Mangino at Kansas getting canned and the stuff that came out from up there. Then this stuff with Leach.
But, think about who you’ve got left. Hawkins at Colorado is known for being a little unorthodox. Pelini at Nebraska kind of reminds me of Gunnery Sergent Hartman. Don’t forget Mike “Come after me! I’m a man! I’m 40!” Gundy at Oklahoma State and never forget Mack Brown’s second career as a poll lobbyist.
That means you’ve got at least half the conference that’s a little out there.
And wow, my typing is off tonight…
Love that movie. Anytime it’s on TNT I watch it…but I hate when they edit all of Nicholson’s curse words. But Code Reds are no laughing matter…you can get in big trouble for that stuff in college…I think.
